MISSION STATEMENT

for the

New Mexico Association for Institutional Research and Planning

• The NMAIRP is an association of educational professionals interested in research, planning, data management and improving post-secondary education in New Mexico.

The purpose of the NMAIRP is to provide a forum

• to discuss various data issues;
• pursue broad based institutional research projects;
• collaborate in data gathering, analysis and research report development;
• reach out and improve coordination and cooperation among the K-12 system and the private institutions (both K-12 and post secondary) and among government agencies;
• and provide professional development to its members in order to improve post-secondary education in New Mexico.
